Vessel Safety Check
The Kalamazoo Flotilla has US Coast Guard qualified vessel examiners who would be glad to examine your
boat or personal watercraft for all the
required state and federal safety equipment. In addition, to be awarded the
Seal of Safety, additional equipment, which the U.S. Coast Guard has
determined will enhance boating safety, must be on board. There is no charge and
no legal obligation (faults or missing items are not reported.)
You can even prepare yourself
for a Vessel Safety Check and learn more about all the safety criteria an
examiner will be looking for when your boat is checked.
